About
Nutrient Notes is a single-author blog about nutrition and wellness, written to be read with the sources attached.
Every post starts from the trials themselves rather than from a press release. Where the evidence is thin, the post says so. Numbers are given with units and a source, and each claim that rests on a study carries a numbered citation you can follow to the reference list at the foot of the page.
Posts carry a visible “updated” date. When newer trials change the picture, the post is revised and that date moves — there is no separate archive of stale versions.
Who writes this
. No post is sponsored, and no advertiser sees a post before it is published. The relationships that do exist are on the disclosure page.
How posts are checked
Each claim that rests on a study carries a numbered citation; where a reference has a DOI or PubMed record, the reference list links to it. Posts show the date the sources were last re-checked as well as the date the text changed, and a post older than twelve months is flagged for review.
